⌨️ Everything you need to know to get from 0 to 200 WPM! Last night I was browsing YouTube and fell into a deep rabbit hole while watching typing speed demos and tutorials. This guy is amazing. Check out his channel: NoThisIsJohn on almost everything typing-related.
And remember, Speed Matters. It really does.
🍫 Eric Jorgenson curated Naval Ravikant’s bits wisdom. ::::Enter Eric: I built the Navalmanack entirely out of transcripts, Tweets, and talks Naval has shared. Every attempt is made to present Naval in his own words. However, there are a few important points.
:::Everything is available for free in this one digital almanack. This is a kind reminder that everyone can be a CREATOR by being a CURATOR first. Also, you might want to check a bonus wallpaper pack that I created. This one is also based on some various bits of knowledge I have collected while following Naval. Aiming to improve my design skills. I hope this can serve as a daily dose of inspiration. The point he is making aka The Problem: ___Maybe if you’re not so familiar with design, you could ask yourself; what is the big deal. Well… From a graphic standpoint it’s a good move, to make in more uniform and related to the other Alphabet-Google products. However, this is not an icon you would see randomly placed at a website, while browsing the web. You will see this, when you are in a rush, needing to open your Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs or hangout. This changes the concept of the graphic design, to UX (User experience) design.

In 1772, Maskelyne estimated for the 1st time the density of the Earth (and all planets out to Saturn!) by measuring the deflection of a pendulum due to the gravitational attraction of a nearby mountain. Here’s the paper with the proposal for the Schiehallion experiment.

Evidence from both model organisms and clinical genetics suggests close coordination between the developing brain and face1–8, but it remains unknown whether this developmental link extends to genetic variation that drives normal-range diversity of face and brain shape.

Table of Contents
1. Good writing is clear
Clear prose is good when it tells a story. A story has two components – characters and actions. The characters are the subjects of the sentences that name the cast of the characters. Meanwhile, the actions are the verbs that go with these subjects. 2. Good writing is cohesive“Put at the beginning of a sentence those ideas that you have already mentioned, referred to, or implied, or concepts that you can reasonably assume your reader is already familiar with, and will readily recognize.”3. Good writing has emphasis“Put at the end of your sentence the newest, the most surprising, the most significant information: information that you want to stress – perhaps the information that you will expand on in your next sentence.”4. Good writing is concise
a. Compress what you mean into the fewest wordsb. Don’t state what your reader can easily refer
