Howdy my fellow quarantined companion.
This is the first edition of the brand new Knowledge Bottle Newsletter!
Why Am I Seeing This?
You’re receiving this email because you signed up for what used to be called Provizii de Vineri Newsletter - a Friday digest of [what I consider lol] fascinating articles across art, tech, science, philosophy, creativity, and meaning. This started in 2016 and was mostly Romanian only, with a particular Eastern European feel to it.
I have decided to move this under a new name - as the audience was too diversified even though - again - the content was [maybe] 30% English only as sometimes I was too lazy to translate the stuff I found while digging the internet.
NuFrecaMenta.com BECOMES KnowledgeBottle.net
The old newsletter was curated by NuFrecaMenta.com - a site which is now unified under a new name - KnowledgeBottle.net
This was (and still is) my personal wiki where I share everything I learned and know about this world. You will possibly see some small adjustments along the way, things like the structure and positioning of the pages or some new user interface enhancements of my own.
And don't worry! My old content is still there, and I'll be working on updating and translating everything, while keeping the original version as well for… you know… transhumanism purposes.
YouTube Channel - Knowledge Bottle
This channel was originally created in 2016 - when I was experimenting with various delivery methods. Although the quality of my old videos is debatable - I resurrected the channel once again in 2020, trying to improve my video editing skills while working on my speech and delivery methods.

Here’s yet another shameless plug of what’s going on in there:
Back to the 💌 Knowledge Bottle Friday Newsletter
Now - I am not going to stop sending my usual Friday Newsletter.
Again, this is now called the Knowledge Bottle Newsletter.
You can think of this as a caffeine jolt of not just inspiration but also of tactical advice you can use. You will still be able to access the archives.
With that being said - here’s the first edition of the Knowledge Bottle Newsletter.

Unholy anorexia - Medieval mystics starved the body to feed the soul. Understanding this perfectionist mindset could help treat anorexia today
Watch Zoox’s autonomous car drive around San Francisco for an hour.
Does Time Really Flow? New Clues Come From a Century-Old Approach to Math. The laws of physics imply that the passage of time is an illusion. To avoid this conclusion, we might have to rethink the reality of infinitely precise numbers.
A collaborative effort to name all 16.7M colors. Humans benefit from a nomenclature for animals, plants, insects, etc so why not colors? Describing the world around us is what we do. Propose a name here. Here’s my proposal lol:
America’s Abandonment of Syria - Many Syrians thought that the U.S. cared about them. Now they know better.
Game of Life, Simulated in the Game of Life
The Webpage - an online RSS reader and news aggregator, styled like a newspaper. RSS Feeds for the 20th century.
Keep going!
Food for thought
I am not that concerned about things I know that I don't know. I am concerned about the things that I don't know that I don't know.
What if we could build better systems? What if we could build systems that didn't involve social capital? That didn't involve who you are? That didn't involve "legitimacy" - but just involved technicality?
The internet is free college. Never forget that.
